Teachers Environmental Rescue - TER

This group was borne from the believe that by empowering teachers through schools, the young generation can be sensitized on environmental, health and other social issues and positive behavioral change can be natured at an early stage. The group runs environmental clubs in several schools, has conducted various environmental campaigns, tree planting sessions and eco-tours in its areas of operation. The impact of its work has been clearly outlined in its 2010 calender that contains artistic impressions from primary school going children on the environment and the impacts of human activities.
