She Trades is a Commonwealth ITC initiative which is targeting to connect one million women entrepreneurs to market by 2020. The project aims to increase economic growth and job creation by enabling the increased participation of women-owned businesses in international trade.  Sectors the project covers are agriculture (Tea; Coffee; Avocado; Beans; Peas; Cashew; Shea; Cocoa), Textiles, apparel and handicrafts (Manufacturer; Producer (designer); Wholesaler / distributor; Service provider) and Services (IT/ITES; BPO; Tour operators; Accommodation; MICE;) The project is supported by a mobile application where women entrepreneurs can link and trade with buyers globally. Through intensive training, mentoring and coaching women-owned businesses are able to build their competitiveness and their capacity to participate in trade.

Ecotourism Kenya is supporting She Trade to recruit suitable tourism sector businesses to participate in the program. For you to be a potential participant, your business must be at least 30% owned, managed and/or controlled by women; legally registered and incorporated company.

The enterprises must also be actively trading in tea, coffee or horticulture products either for the local, regional or international market.  . This link can also be used for registration
