The Executive Committee of Eco-tourism Kenya is pleased to announce the selection of Edith Alusa-Bosire as its new Chief Executive Officer. Edith has served before on the Board of Eco-tourism Kenya for nearly 6 years, and as CEO of EK for close to 4 years. Edith was most recently Co-founder and Principal Partner at EED Advisory Ltd. and is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in strategic environmental management having held senior positions in both public and private sectors in Kenya, from coordinating field training and country-wide surveys to policy formulation for countries and regional blocks. Edith is also a Chevening scholar experienced in building teams, developing and accessing environmental and social safeguard programs. She brings along strong networks in tourism, conservation, environment, sustainable agriculture, and energy spaces. We are thrilled that someone with so much history with our organization, and such a depth of experience in the nonprofit sector, will lead Eco-tourism Kenya into the next chapter.

Edith started her term as the CEO on, July 1, 2021.
