LAUNCH OF THE KENYA WILDLIFE CONSERVANCIES STATUS REPORT 2016

Ecotourism Kenya is excited to be invited to the launch of the first Status of Wildlife Conservancies Report 2016. The Launch will be officated by the cabinet secretary Ministry of Enviroment and Natural Resources, Prof. Judi Wakhungu at the KWS clubhouse grounds.

The state of conservancies report consolidates information and data on conservancies based on national indicators.The report provides a baseline for measuring future impacts and contribution to wildlife conservation and community livelihoods.The findings also enrich understanding of the challenges and complexities that conservancies face as they restore biodiversity. The findings will be significant in informing national and county policies,strategies and plans, as well as guide conservation partners in supporting the growth of conservancies in Kenya.
