Ecotourism Kenya Sustainable Tourism Forum 2025
Date: 12th– 13th June 2025
Venue: TBC
Theme: Transforming Tourism Models for Sustainable Impact & Resilience
For decades, tourism has largely operated on high-impact, volume-driven models that place excessive pressure on natural resources, local communities, and cultural heritage. Overreliance on mass tourism, certain tourism products, seasonal demand, and resource-intensive operations has led to environmental degradation, economic inequalities, and unsustainable dependency on fragile ecosystems. Without reinventing these models, the sector risks long-term instability and failure to meet the needs of future generations. To ensure resilience and a sustainable impact, tourism must embrace innovative, adaptive, and climate-smart models.
Let’s explore how we can achieve this.
Join us as we hold discussions and presentations and share success stories that will guide action towards positive impact for the tourism sector!
The sessions include;
