Revised Fees

As part of our dedicated effort to continually enhance the value and services we provide to our esteemed members, we wish to inform you of an upcoming revision to our membership fees, effective January 1, 2026.

This adjustment follows extensive deliberations during the Ecotourism Kenya Annual General Meeting held on May 23, 2025, and a comprehensive review by the Finance Committee. It is important to note that the last revision of membership fees took place in 2016. Since then, the cost of delivering impactful events, sustaining operational excellence, and meeting our long-term financial obligations has risen considerably.

The revised fees reflect our continued commitment to providing exceptional value to our members while ensuring the sustainability and growth of our work in an increasingly dynamic sustainable tourism landscape.

Accordingly, the new membership rates will be as follows:

  • Corporate Members: KES 30,000 (currently KES 15,000). This encompasses accommodations, tour companies, airlines, training institutions, conservancies, green businesses (environmentally friendly products), technology-based companies, etc.
  • Individual Members: KES 5,000 (currently KES 3,000)

The fees for student members (undergraduates) and community-based tourism organisations/enterprises (CBTOs & CBTEs) will remain at KES 1,500 and KES 3,000, respectively.
