Company Profile

Just outside the picturesque coastal town of Watamu, Kenya, you will find the Watamu Snake Farm, a hands-on research and education centre, dealing with reptiles, but primarily snakes and snake-bites. Located less than a 5 minutes drive from the hotels in Watamu, it houses one of the largest and most diverse collections of East African venomous snakes in East Africa and is open to the public.

At the park, we have almost 50 Kenyan snake species. Amongst these are The Ashe’s Spitting Cobra, a Black Boomslang, and the infamous Black Mamba. Our dedicated guides and venomous snake handlers are excited to show you the world of these mysterious critters and teach you more about their characteristics, lifestyle and habits.

Are you afraid of snakes? Tell your guide before your tour and we hope to change your mind before you leave!
